Webinar on 5G EVE End-to-End Facility attracted ICT-19 Proposers

More than 60 people had registered for the 5G EVE webinar on 20 September 2018 to learn more about the The 5G EVE end-to-end facility.Maurizio Cecchi, Telecom Italia

The webinar was aimed at proposers for the upcoming ICT-19 call under Horizon 2020, dedicated to “Advanced 5G validation trials across multiple vertical industries”. According to the call, ICT-19 projects are expected to implement their trials over the 5G end-to-end platforms developed under ICT-17-2018, which include 5G EVE.

The webinar gave an overview on the 5G EVE platform and answer questions like: How does the platform support ICT-19 projects in realising the European 5G vision of “5G empowering vertical industries”? How does it support “technological and business validation of 5G end-to-end connectivity”?

In the webinar, 5G EVE coordinator Maurizio Cecchi and 5G EVE’s technical manager Manuel Lorenzo provided specific answers to these questions for the 5G EVE end-to-end facility. The webinar informed ICT-19 proposers and other interested participants about the 5G EVE facility and how to access and use it for the trials and validations of ICT-19 projects.

The numerous questions in the Q&A session indicated that the webinar met the information needs of participants.
